🎶 3′ Activity 1 Start the lessons with songs and then we sing If it’s snowy and it’s cold, wear your mittens (scarf, hat, boots) in the tune of If you’re happy and you know it.
🙊5′ Activity 2 We review animals with the help of realia and flashcards (bear, owl, rabbit, mouse, hedgehog, white, snow) . I then introduce new vocabulary (mitten, mole, badger, fox).

📖 10′ Activity 3 We look at the book cover and the title and try to guess what will happen. I then read the book twice if they want to and we share what we liked most.

🦔5′ Activity 4 We put the animals in the correct order, trying to remember the story. I also name an animal, and students point at it.

💡10′ Activity 5 I divide learners into two groups, and I bewitch their ears to hear only words in English. I give each group small flashcards of the animals we saw in the book, and they have to stick them to the masking tape on their tables. Learners need to collaborate and put the animals in the correct order of appearance.

10′ Activity 6 Learners draw
w whatever they liked from the story we read

4′ Activity 7 We always finish the lessons with each learner helping me pack my stuff. I say a name of a learner and the animal I want them to bring, and last but not least we release our energy with a “Freeze dance”
