
🍂5′ Activity 1 We sang a song for weather ‘The sun goes up’ and we used flashcards for the chorus part (sunny, windy, rainy, cloudy)


🫙10′ Activity 2 We learnt the words sunny, windy, rainy, cloudy with the help of weather sensory bottles. We passed the bottles from one pupil to the other while we were singing
📖10′ Activity 3 As a pre-reading activity, we looked at the cover and tried to guess what adventure we would read about. Next, we read a simplified version of the book Storm💦 by Sam Usher and we practised the words kite, leaves, grandad, It’s windy. After that, I passed the book, and each pupil decided which was their favourite kite.
🙊10′ Activity 4 We played pantomime in two teams . One student was showing through hand gestures and body language the weather that I whispered in their ears, and the rest of the team had to guess correctly in English.
