Last Stop on the Reindeer Express
By Maudie Powell-Tuck and Karl James Mountford
Tea for mum, gingerman for dad and new book for our little girl 🙂 A lovely Christmas story about Mia whose father is away this cold season’s time. Everything seems less bright without him at Christmas so when she decides to send him a card, she finds a mysterious post box called ‘The Reindeer Express’. Something magical is about to begin…
I adore Karl James Mountford illustrations, lift-the-flap doors and die-cut pages! The colours are vivid, the details are amazing and the aura that the shapes and design give absolutely sweet and nostalgic. The story is a charming one for families that spend holidays far from one another.
It deserves a place in your Christmas reading list. I would recommend it for children 3-7 years old and for anyone who loves illustrations of great quality in children’s books!
